In Living Colour

It’s hard to believe we are nearing the end of summer but I’m sure you’ll agree with me that it was a great one weather-wise! For the most part the weather was fabulous; a scattered day in July not so much but over all I’d give it an 8/10. Hot weather, humidity and a good thunderstorm is rare around these parts and the thunder and lightning we had last week is something I’ve never experienced here in Newfoundland. It was exciting and frightening all at the same time!

Here’s a small clip of the light show from a few weeks ago. I recorded it in slow motion then used an app to slow it down even further so we could get a good look at that lightning bolt. 😉

I don’t know if it’s because of the fantastic weather this year but everything seems so much more bright and vibrant. This became apparent as I was scrolling through the pictures I took over the summer. There was a common theme: colour. Here are some of the snaps I’ve taken over the last few months. Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them. 🙂

A short and sweet blog this time around! BUT I have lots of content collected which allows me to post more blogs in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.

Until Next Time,

Andrea

  1. The pictures are amazing. Should be made into a coffee table book. I think that’s the right term. Congrats on your blog.
